Connects to the side expansion slot of the A1000 and provides it with a means to use Kickstart stored in ROMs. The unit contains 6 EPROMs for holding kickstart. It was originally supplied with Kickstart 1.3 but is reported to also work with Kickstart 3.1. The unit also appears to contain and RTC.
